Royal Family volunteers like each other so much they’ll come out for an evening program just to see the RFK RV! That’s what happened when Poulsbo, Washington camp director Brent Anderson invited his volunteers to come meet us. We soon saw lots of red shirts as people arrived to share camp memories and hear the impact the RV has made. People added their names to the parachute, (which now has over 1,000 names!) and took pictures holding the Olympic torch.
We also honored Karen Trostad, who handled the drama program, Breakfast Club and many other duties! We ended the evening by doing a mini-program, showing some of the activities we do at camp programs. Everyone left after eating an ice cream cone…an ice cream cone with purple sprinkles of course!
