We have FAITH that foster children will be served in D.C.
For many foster kids, being able to Hope and have FAITH is a fundamental hurdle. There’s no way to receive God’s mercy if your heart is closed off to the the truth that He loves you. And who would blame these kids for having skeptical heart-stances when their life has been full of pain and disappointment?
We can’t remedy hurts like most foster kids have with a program, no matter how good it looks on paper. These wounds are relational wounds, and they require healthy relationships in order to heal. That’s why Royal Family KIDS was created in 1985 — to provide moments that matter… and healthy, Christ-centered relationships that will serve as a model for the child for the rest of his or her life.
We don’t currently have a location in or even near Washington D.C., but we believe that God will open doors and hearts in our nation’s capital to help us recruit churches, donors and volunteers to join us in changing the outcomes for foster kids. We have confident hope that there is a huge amount of support just waiting to be tapped in the area! We are ready for our partners to step forward and raise their hand so we can begin the work. Are you one of them?
