Volunteers are always a part of Royal Family KIDS Camps, and the Wilsonville, Oregon camp is no exception. Volunteers helped cook up a delicious barbeque for campers and also supervised the slightly messy process of making homemade ice cream. Picture campers using floppy oven mits to hold plastic bags filled with whipped cream, sugar and ice cubes, shaking the bags to create ice cream. It didn’t take long for campers to lose interest in shaking, so counselors quickly took over!
Campers also enjoyed a dramatic story about some amazing Rocket Shoes, and then had a visit from the RFK three-headed counselor who provided some funny moments singing and reciting a Bible verse.
