Justine was a college student volunteering at camp over her summer break, but the amazing transformations she saw taking place in the children at Royal Family KIDS Camps was forever impressed on her heart. She knew she would be back.
After college, when she settled in Sacramento, she watched the website every year to see if a Sacramento camp had been launched yet — and then she got tired of waiting and decided to launch it herself.
She recruited her husband, sister, and brother-in-law to share director responsibilities. And last year she came to Dallas for camp director training. Which means: in 2016 there will be a Royal Family KIDS Camp in Sacramento, thanks to Justine and her dream which wouldn’t die!
They’re recruiting volunteers and sponsors right now and plan to begin by serving 30 of the 2,900 foster children currently in the Sacramento County system.
We know you share Justine’s vision and commitment. Thanks for standing with Royal Family to make a difference for kids in need. Another kind of “annual report” You gave them their forever home You helped make a dream come true!
